[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Join the directors of Blockchain for Sustainable Development (“B4SD”) from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26 at WeWork at Union Station for our monthly CryptoTuesday for Social Good meetup discussing how Blockchain and Emerging Technologies can be used to advance U.N. Sustainable Development Goal attainment. This month’s topic focuses on U.N. Sustainable Development goal 14 (“SDG14”). SDG14’s goal is to conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development. B4SD Co-Director, Annie Opel, will cover SDG14 basics as well as who is working in the space from both the blockchain and environmental perspective, covering projects and organizations working on sustainable seafood, mangroves, and carbon sequestration. Opel will then discuss B4SD’s thoughts on next steps. The meetup will consist of a short presentation, after
which panelists and participants can freely discuss their thoughts on the problem and potential solutions to help our global community create a sustainable future for our oceans.
